Movember 2025: Our Team’s Journey for Men’s Health

In November, our team united to support Movember, the global movement raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Together, we committed to moving with purpose, and the results speak for themselves.

We raised $2,850, moved a collective 970 kilometres, and had 16 dedicated team members step up for a cause that matters.

This was more than just a fitness challenge. It was a show of support, solidarity, and impact.

What We Achieved

Here’s how our team made an impact throughout the month:

  • Mustache Growers: 6
  • Total Fitness Participants: 16
    • Participants Who Completed the 60 km Challenge: 8
    • Total Distance Moved: 970 km
  • Total Raised: $2,850
    • $1,000 kickoff donation by Olympic Industries
    • $1,300 donated by Olympic for each completed 60 km challenge or moustache grown (13 completions at $100 each)
    • $500 donation by Olympic on behalf of the Movember Challenge Winner
    • $50 raised by the team independently

Why We Did It

The 60 km Move Challenge symbolizes the 60 men lost to suicide every hour across the world. We walked, ran, and cycled not just to raise awareness, but to honour lives lost and help create a healthier future for men everywhere.

This effort was personal for many of us. Here’s what a few of our teammates shared:

“Each kilometer represents one man lost to suicide every hour, and that really hit me. I decided to do something about it, even if it was just putting one foot in front of the other. I ended up jogging over 85 km. I’m proud of myself and of everyone else who moved for the same cause.”

Yolanda Zhong

“I joined Movember to help support men's health awareness and promote physical and mental wellness. I think it’s amazing that the company donated $100 for every person who completed the challenge, and I wanted to be a part of that.”

Kristy Houston-McMillan

“I had already been training for a marathon, but taking on the 60 km Movember challenge gave my runs a new meaning. I’m grateful I could support a cause while doing something I love.”

Daniela Contreras

“I participated in Movember to contribute to a cause I believe is increasingly important in today’s day and age. It was a great initiative to come together as a community and remind ourselves of these issues while actively contributing to the cause.”

Gabriele Martinesi

“I’m participating to support men in my community.”

Looking Back… And Ahead

We’re incredibly proud of what we accomplished during Movember. The kilometres we moved, the money we raised, and the stories we shared reflect our commitment to showing up for one another.

While Movember 2025 is over, the mission continues. The conversations, awareness, and support don't stop here, and neither will we.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, or cheered us on. Together, we made a difference.
